Job summary

Libertas School of Memphis is seeking an Operations Manager for a temporary term (Sept–Oct 2026) to oversee non-academic operations, ensuring smooth campus services so students, staff, and families can flourish. The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires coordinating with principals, finance, and external partners.

Expect 8-hour days (7:30/8:00 start), 2 weeks paid vacation, and occasional events beyond standard hours. Competitive hourly pay ($25–$40) with benefits as applicable.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in schools, nonprofits or small business in one or more of the operational areas listed.
• Take initiative with a strong sense of ownership.
• Flexible and able to multi-task while staying organized and attentive to detail.
• Service orientation: willing to serve personally when needed.
• Effective communication, including listening, writing, and speaking.
• Love of learning with a growth mindset.
• Ability to bend and lift 20 pounds, climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main day-to-day on-site contact for campus operations.
• Plan and purchase goods and services in accordance with financial policies.
• Coordinate logistics for arrival/dismissal, parking, events, field trips, etc.
• Coordinate with IT for devices, access, and support needs.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and liaise with vendors for services.
