Temporary Call Center Agent - Medicare Sales Support (Remote)

Join us as a Temporary Call Center Agent - Medicare Sales Support (Remote) at UPMC.

This role involves providing excellent customer service from your home, supporting callers and assisting with Medicare Advantage products. Responsibilities include answering inbound calls, conducting outbound campaigns, and enrolling beneficiaries over the phone.

The position offers a flexible schedule between 8 am - 8 pm, including evenings and weekends, with up to 6 months duration and potential for permanent employment. The pay rate is $18/hr, and it is a remote position within the US, subject to internet speed and latency requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer, document, and triage incoming calls from prospective customers.
  • Conduct outbound calls using scripts to support sales initiatives.
  • Communicate information regarding Medicare and related products effectively.
  • Manage sales lead information in CRM systems.
  • Perform data entry projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in typing, Windows, and MS Office.
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, call center experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare or insurance terminology is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance required.
