Job summary

Maricopa County Elections is seeking Seasonal Election Workers to support the November General Election as temporary BTC Operators. This role involves organizing ballots, data entry, and performing data entry in office, field, or customer-facing settings.

Anticipated start date is in October for a temporary position. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, voter eligibility in Arizona by hire, and willingness to work overtime during the election cycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be a registered voter or able to become a registered voter in Arizona by hire.
• Must pass an applicable background screening and drug/alcohol testing where required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes bundles of ballots for tabulators or scanners.
• Maintains accurate documentation of ballots tabulated with a number pad.
• Lifts up to 50-pound ballot trays.
• Stands for extended periods while moving ballots in the tabulation room.
• Assists other Elections divisions and daily operations as assigned.
