Job summary

L.L.Bean in Freeport, Maine seeks a Temporary Associate Art Director to bridge brand storytelling with video and photography. In this entry-level, full-time role, you’ll support concepting, filming, and editing while learning from experienced Art Directors and shaping omni-channel content.

You’ll collaborate with merchants and design partners, edit productions, and contribute to campaign planning. A BA/BS is required, 1–3 years experience preferred, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

BA/BS required.
1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere.
Interest in retail, fashion/outdoor trends.
Strong portfolio with emphasis on video production.
Ability to prioritize tasks and milestones effectively.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing the artistic translation of brand strategy to customers via video creation.
Collaborate with merchants and Design partners for seasonal photo/video needs.
Assist with editing larger productions and lead on smaller projects.
Assist with filming larger productions and lead on smaller projects.
Support creative planning, campaign strategies and initiatives.
Contribute to the Creative team’s library of inspiration references.
Execute assigned projects on schedule and within expenses.
Partner with Photo Operations to meet production requirements.
Participate in pre-production meetings providing creative input.
