L.L.Bean in Freeport, ME is seeking a temporary Technical Designer to ensure fit, construction and quality across apparel. The role partners with cross‑functional teams to develop and maintain technical specs and drive improvements, lasting 4–6 months with onsite attendance twice weekly.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in technical design or related fields, strong garment construction knowledge, pattern making, and proficiency with 3D (CLO), Illustrator and PDM. Associates degree required.

L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $73,000.00 - $91,200.00. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
