Job summary

Vir Biotechnology, Inc. seeks a Temporary Staff analytical chemist at its San Francisco headquarters to support analytical development labs and project teams, including a mass spectrometry facility. Qualifications

• Experience in analytical development and characterization of protein therapeutics.
• Ability to collect, process, interpret and present analytical data independently.
• Knowledge of ICH guidelines and drug development practices.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on analytical lab support for process and formulation development and product characterization.
• Apply MS and other analytical methods to support characterization of Vir products.
• Draft and review development reports, test methods, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with CMC, QC and QA to meet program deliverables.
• Coordinate method development and testing with external CROs/CMOs.
