University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia seeks a Temporary Admissions Specialist (Non-Exempt) for the College of Liberal and Professional Studies. The 30-hour week role runs for about 10 weeks starting in January 2027, supporting applications and communications with applicants and admitted students using SLATE and Fresh Desk.

The position requires strong written and verbal communication, data handling, and the ability to coordinate between applicants, students, and program staff.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in an office setting with public/customer contact.
• Bachelor's degree or some college is preferred.
• Intermediate understanding of databases, excellent written and oral communication skills; strong typing, organizational, and computer skills; and intermediate MS Office skills.

Mansioni

• Process applications, transcripts, test scores and supporting documentation according to targets in the admissions system (SLATE) and Fresh Desk.
• Provide effective communication to applicants and admitted students via phone, email, and callbacks; ensure smooth hand-offs to program staff.
• Post admissions decision letters and verify applicant data with Admissions System staff to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with program staff and admissions staff to support timely processing of applications and data management.
