Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Temporary Housekeeper (3rd Shift) to perform daily cleaning across campus buildings, including offices, lounges, restrooms, and student housing. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, follow work orders, and work Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with occasional overtime.

Position supports a large housekeeping team and offers professional training opportunities and exclusive employee perks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety norms.
• Ability to read work orders and follow directions.
• Capable of performing medium to heavy physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine and detail cleaning of campus buildings, including offices, lounges, restrooms, housing, classrooms, entrances and stairways.
• Performs vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting and trash removal.
• Works primarily in on-campus facilities during the academic year, summer breaks, and between semesters.
