DOUGLAS ESD YONCALLA SCHOOL DISTRICT in Yoncalla, Oregon is seeking a temporary Second Grade Teacher for the 2026-27 school year, starting immediately. The role includes planning developmentally appropriate instruction and promoting positive, independent learners.

Salary ranges from $50,450 to $85,191 per year with a 6% PERS contribution and an excellent benefits package. Applicants must hold Oregon teaching credentials and a valid First Aid certification or obtain it within two months of hire.

Qualifications

• Oregon Teaching Certificate with subject area endorsement and grade level authorization required.
• Standard First Aid certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans a developmentally appropriate program of study aligned to state standards and district goals.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
• Establishes clear objectives for lessons and communicates consequences for misbehavior.
