Job summary

TEKsystems, Bloomington, IL, seeks a hands-on Platform Engineer to build and operate a Temporal-based foundation across a large enterprise. You will enable developers and business partners, implement best practices, and lead the initial team standing up this capability.

You will work across cloud environments with Kubernetes/OpenShift, implement observability, and integrate with developer pipelines. Strong communication and a track record of delivering durable, reliable platforms are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering with production distributed systems experience.
• Deep hands-on platform engineering in cloud/Kubernetes/OpenShift and IAM integration.
• Go, Temporal SDKs, and workflow orchestration experience including portable, multi-tenant platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives as Temporal is adopted across business partners and developers.
• Onboard teams to the Temporal platform and establish best practices for usage.
• Serve as face of the team, coordinating customer interactions and cross-team collaboration.
