Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Tempo Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end Tempo Ready to Heat production, ensuring quality, food safety, and on-time execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will lead Executive Chef and Production Kitchen Manager, drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Procurement, HR, Quality, and Engineering, and own daily KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in high-volume food production.
• Strong HACCP and SQF knowledge.
• Proven cross-functional production leadership.
• Experience with Office suites and production tracking tools.
• Ability to work in a cold production environment (~38°F).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Tempo Production and Kitchen Operations, ensuring smooth RTH production, quality, and timely output.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams, including Executive Chef and Production Kitchen Manager; coach and build a high-performance culture.
• Drive quality, food safety, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF; act as escalation point for issues.
• Partner with R&D, Procurement, HR, Quality, and Engineering on process improvements and ingredient transitions.
• Own daily/weekly reporting of production KPIs, track batch data and line performance, and drive continuous improvement.
