Job summary

Home Chef is hiring a Production Cook for a 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) to support Ready to Heat production. You will prep, label, cook and portion foods while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

You must read recipes, document batch information, and work with the team to meet production needs. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety procedures, and adherence to GMPs across the facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team.
• Read and understand recipes to prepare ingredients.
• Adhere to GMPs and safety guidelines while onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw food prep, washing, cutting, cooking, cooling, labeling and portioning for Ready to Heat products.
• Document times, temperatures and progress for batch tracing.
• Maintain sanitation and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Follow all SOPs, safety rules and food safety standards.
• Support changeovers and accurate packaging labeling.
