Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a FSQA Superintendent to lead food safety and quality across our Ready-to-Heat kitchens within Tempo. You’ll oversee the RTH supervisory team, partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvements to ensure compliance with SQF and other standards.

You’ll be hands-on in a 24/7 production environment, trend metrics, develop corrective actions, and coach supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in quality assurance, food safety, food distribution, food manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience with GFSI, SQF, and USDA audits preferred.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality programs.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with initiative, able to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA across Ready-to-Heat kitchens and enforce safety and quality systems.
• Gather, trend, and report metrics on quality performance.
• Partner with plant teams to identify gaps and implement improvements to processes.
• Review production and CCP records for weekly release of meals.
• Develop and coach the RTH supervisory team; conduct performance reviews.
