Job summary

BYU Pathway seeks a Temple Facilities Assistant 2 to support the Fresno California temple operations. The role maintains and repairs mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, ensuring safe, clean, and compliant temple facilities for attendees.

The position requires 2 years of technical training and 4 years' experience in physical plant operations or related trades. Lifts up to 50 pounds; on-site, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 years of technical training in skilled trades.
• 2 years experience in physical plant operation and skilled trades (electrical, electronics, plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, general construction).
• Basic computer skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate temple facilities and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Service and repair equipment including HVAC, water treatment, laundry, kitchen, and filtration systems.
• Assist in budgeting and facility project administration.
