Job summary

Big-D Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a commercial ground-up project on-site in Colorado Springs, with some travel and per-diem. You will manage safety, quality, schedule, and coordination with project teams and trade partners to deliver a high-quality project.

As the on-site leader you will interface with stakeholders, enforce codes, and ensure client satisfaction while maintaining production and budget.

Qualifications

• Complete at least one LDS Temple construction project, renovation, or major expansion.
• Experience coordinating specialty trades and quality control inspections.
• Strong finish work background.
• Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication with project team, customers, subcontractors, vendors and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics and coordination
• Represents the company in meetings and interfaces with project stakeholders
• Coordinates and directs all subcontractor and vendors
• Works with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability
• Assumes responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance
• Works with city officials to coordinate inspections from day one
• Verifies subcontractor completes the assigned scope of work
• Keeps abreast of changes in the construction industry
