Job summary

Henry Ford Health System, based in Detroit, seeks a skilled Epic template specialist to create, modify, and maintain scheduling templates supporting patient access and provider scheduling. You will collaborate with departments to implement efficient scheduling solutions while ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.

The role requires four years in healthcare operations, template-building experience, and strong communication abilities; Epic Cadence certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated template building experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of medical scheduling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder requests.
• Proven track record of follow-through and project completion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma. AA/AS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field preferred.

• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of medical scheduling.
