Job summary

Spinato’s Pizzeria in Tempe, AZ is seeking a dedicated Sauté Cook to prep and execute all hot station dishes with care, precision, and pride. You will set up stations, follow Spinato’s recipes and specifications, and support other kitchen areas as needed to ensure a smooth, high‑quality service.

This role requires stamina to stand long shifts, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid Food Handler Certification; a team‑oriented attitude and a commitment to safety and cleanliness are

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler Certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for up to 8 hours and work shifts up to 12 hours.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Prior line cook or sauté experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all food items as directed, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Restock all items and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout each shift.
• Adhere to all Spinato’s recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and organizational practices.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
• Follow all proper food handling procedures as outlined by the local health department.
• Support teammates and assist with additional duties as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude in a high-energy environment.

You’ll be responsible for the daily preparation and execution of all food items at the hot station while assisting other areas of the kitchen as needed.
