WAREHOUSE CLERK

We are seeking aWarehouse Clerk who will be responsible for shipping and receiving all of Levata product lines, including but not limited to barcode scanning and data capture devices and wireless enterprise mobile devices and device parts. The Warehouse Clerk mayparticipate in the following functions: order processing, checking&receiving merchandise, stocking, inventory, and all general warehouse work whichanemployee is physically capable to performand will report directly to the Operations Manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
  • Compares serial numbers, weighs, and measures items of shipments to verify information against invoices or orders.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Provides assistance to other warehouse associates.
  • May operate hi-lo to move, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.

  • UPS Worldship experience is preferred, but not required

What You’ll Need:

2 years of shipping and/or receiving experience

Strong troubleshooting skills

Individual must be highly organized and able to manage a large number of deadlines at one time

Must possess good oral and written communication skills and have a very high attention to detail in all work produced

An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image

Very high attention to detail

Self-starter and highly motivated

Good computer skills

Must be able to lift 60-70 lbswithout assistance on a regular basis.

  • Must be able to climb ladders and reach above head level.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
