Connectly Recruiting is seeking a qualified Phlebotomist for Monroe, NY, with 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital settings. The role includes blood draws, specimen labeling, and compliant handling.

You will perform venipuncture, prepare specimens, and ensure OSHA and DEP regulations are followed; benefits are available, and the project is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws following established procedures.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package and transport specimens maintaining specimen integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and communicate results as needed.
