The role requires venipuncture duties, specimen integrity, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations. A valid state phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience are preferred, along with basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per protocol.
• Centrifuge and process specimens; maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimens and ensure accurate labeling.
• Ensure sample transport and storage meet temperature and regulatory requirements.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in annual trainings.
