Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for Food Service Utility roles at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL. These temporary positions offer day-to-day kitchen duties, including dishwashing, sanitation, and assisting with setup. The schedule is temporary with full-time and part-time shifts (evenings), with a fixed pay rate of $16.50 per hour and potential path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
