Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a QC Laboratory Technician in Covington, VA to perform chemical and physical testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products, and to maintain GLP/GMP records.

You will prepare reagents, clean glassware, calibrate and maintain equipment, document results, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Shifts are 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with temp-to-hire potential.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in chemistry with at least one year of analytical chemistry experience and three years in an analytical laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze incoming raw materials and compare results to CoA and Balchem specs.
• Document all test results in lab notebooks or electronic records.
• Prepare and standardize laboratory reagents and maintain glassware.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments daily.
• Support QA investigations and non-conforming material reporting.
