Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform physical and chemical analyses on raw materials and finished products as part of the QA team. The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting under GMP guidelines in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will collect and analyze samples, record results, and communicate findings to QA leadership while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have completed GMP training and follow all mandates.
• Ability to apply commonsense to carry out written, oral or diagram instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and manage workload.
• Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples for analysis and distributes them appropriately.
• Performs chemical and physical analysis on product and control samples.
• Records all product analysis according to laboratory protocols.
• Communicates critical information regarding analysis and test results.
• Maintains cleanliness and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Follows GMP and safety procedures.
• Provides written reports as requested by QA Manager/QA Leader.
• Covers QA lab responsibilities during absence of QA Leader.
