Qualifications

• Accounting foundation required with familiarity of General Ledger
• Experience with month-end and year-end accounting processes preferred

• Ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines and responsibilities
• Willingness to learn specialized processes and procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support preparation of financial statements and related documentation
• Perform bank reconciliations and account balancing
• Assist with tax preparation, reporting, and processing activities
• Handle reinsurance reporting and processing tasks
• Coordinate employee benefits administration and related processing
• Support payroll processing and attendance tracking
• Prepare and process agency statements and related records
• Maintain agency appointments, contracts, licensing, and contact records
• Assist with unclaimed property notices and reporting requirements
• Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed
