This is a temporary position from August 31, 2026 through December 18, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education required.
• 3+ years of experience working with school staff on instructional improvement issues.
• Experience with alternative youth and service providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively engages in identifying student needs and provides solutions.
• Consults with teachers, parents, and school personnel on learning, social, and behavioral issues.
• Maintains a positive school environment and implements restorative approaches to develop social skills.
• Performs attendance advising and applies interventions for chronically absent students.
• Develops community partnerships to offer programs and services for students.
• Maintains accurate student records and analyzes data for interventions.
• Refers students to counselors or social workers when needed.
• Coordinates with staff to keep apprised of issues affecting academic performance.
• Promotes in-home literacy enrichment for at-risk students.
