Job Description
Safety and Health LLC, based in Maryland, is a leading provider of safety solutions dedicated to ensuring workplace safety across various industries. We offer a comprehensive range of safety services, including training, consulting, and site coordination. We are seeking dedicated Safety Site Coordinators to join our team and help us maintain high safety standards at job sites across the region.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and unannounced safety inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Identify hazards, assess risk levels, and recommend corrective actions.
- Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence and recommendations.
- Communicate inspection results with internal teams and client representatives.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of safety concerns.
Site Safety Manager Duties
- Serve as the primary safety representative on assigned job sites.
- Conduct site-specific safety orientations and toolbox talks.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain all required safety documentation, including logs, permits, and reports.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to foster a safety culture.
- Respond to incidents and near misses, conduct investigations, and assist with corrective action plans.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction safety, preferably with a safety services provider.
- OSHA 30 (Construction) certification required; CHST, STS-C, or other safety credentials preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations and other safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel between multiple job sites.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Working Conditions

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
