Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address resident service requests, perform hands-on maintenance, and prepare market-ready apartments. You will conduct preventive maintenance, maintain grounds, and report concerns.

This temporary assignment covers an employee's leave of absence, with potential for permanent vacancy based on performance and business need. Responsibilities include plumbing/electrical work, preparing units, conducting inspections, and responding to

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs and painting preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a vehicle during workday.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Promptly addressing resident service requests.
• Performing hands-on maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical work.
• Preparing market-ready apartments and maintaining community grounds.
• Conducting regular community inspections to identify repairs or replacements.
• Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm with 1 hour meal break; on-call emergencies may occur.
