Job summary

AAR is seeking a Procurement Analyst for a temporary June 2027 to August 2027 assignment in the United States. The role focuses on analyzing purchasing and inventory data, supporting supplier communications, and maintaining procurement records to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Responsibilities include reviewing requisitions, tracking orders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize material planning and ensure accurate purchasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field by May 2028 preferred.
• 0–2 years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory, or data analysis; internship/co-op a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• US Person under ITAR compliance (U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or approved refugee/asylum).

Responsibilities

• Analyze purchasing, inventory, and supplier data to support procurement decisions and operational performance.
• Review requisitions and orders for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance and communicate with vendors for on-time delivery.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations; support sourcing initiatives for best value.
• Prepare procurement reports and forecasts for management decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Production, Finance, and Inventory Management to resolve supply issues.
