Job summary

AAR is seeking a Procurement Analyst for a temporary June 2027 to August 2027 assignment in Wood Dale, IL. You will analyze purchasing and inventory data, review requisitions and POs, monitor supplier performance, and support sourcing to optimize value and delivery performance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field by May 2028 and 0–2 years of procurement experience, with strong Excel/ERP skills and the ability to work across Operations, Finance, and Inventory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management or related field by May 2028 preferred.
• 0-2 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain or related experience; internship/co-op a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP or inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze purchasing, inventory, and supplier data to support procurement decisions and operational performance.
• Review requisitions, POs and related docs for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations and support sourcing initiatives to maximize value.
• Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and presentations for management decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support material planning and resolve supply issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, data integrity, and overall supply chain performance.
