Job summary

The Florida Department of Children and Families, Office of Quality and Innovation, seeks a Procurement Analyst OPS in Tallahassee to coordinate procurement activities and support contract performance. This temporary role involves liaising with the PMO, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and guiding staff on procurement best practices.

Required are at least three years in procurement, contract management with a Florida state agency, FCCM certification, and hands-on MFMP and Microsoft

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional office environment work experience.
• At least three years of procurement and/or acquisitions experience with a State of Florida Government Agency.
• Contract management experience with a State of Florida Government Agency.
• Current Florida Certified Contract Manager Certification (FCCM).
• Working knowledge of MFMP applications and systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between PMO and suppliers to procure favorable contracts.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchase orders.
• Analyze contract performance and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide procurement guidance and technical support to department staff.
