Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a TEMP FT MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATE in Florida. The role involves providing therapeutic patient care, sustaining a safe environment, and participating in treatment teams for patients from preschool to adults.

The position requires a high school diploma, two years of related psychiatric care experience, and may require weekend/overtime with flexible hours. CNA is preferred and related therapeutic education is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CNA preferred; degree in social work or therapeutic discipline desirable.
• Two (2) years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques.
• MHA’s may be required to work weekends, overtime and have flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a therapeutic relationship with all patients and ensure a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
• Assist in patient care duties related to health and safety as part of the treatment team.
• Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modelling for patients from preschool to adulthood.
