Job summary

Hybrid Apparel seeks an Associate Designer for a temporary role in Cypress, CA. You will assist the Designer to execute Men’s product, research trends, and support the Director with costing processes. The position involves cross-functional collaboration and production-order handling.

The ideal candidate has a fashion design background, excellent color sense, and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite to contribute to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textiles, Fine Art or related field.
• Strong sense of color, style, and trend adaptability.
• Extremely proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
• Garment construction and fabric knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Designer to execute Men’s product development.
• Researches trends and communicates with cross-functional teams.
• Supports the Director and understands internal costing processes.
• Works on core line and TP’s with the team (b/w, PLM, color ups).
• Takes on production orders to assist the senior designer.
• Supports Director with retailer projects and collections.
• Researches for new body and development ideas with Director and team.
• Supports senior designer with novelty and costume designs.
• Helps size art for samples and production.
