Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Member Service Representative/Teller in Fresno, CA to serve members by processing transactions, promoting products, and resolving account issues with excellence. You will work under supervision of the Teller Supervisor or Branch Manager in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, cash handling experience, and strong customer service skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required; travel to other branches may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.
• Preference for teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify member needs and initiate conversations to assess them.
• Maintain and enhance member relationships with excellent service.
• Process share deposits, loan payments, payrolls, and transfers.
• Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
• Log deposits (night, ATM, mail) as part of dual-control team.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
