Community Health Centers of the Central Coast is seeking a Receptionist to greet patients, manage provider schedules, assist with registration, and process payments. You will be part of a team focused on accessible, high-quality care and must handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least one year of customer service experience in a medical setting, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service position preferably in a medical setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Handle high volume of patients and manage scheduling and registration.
• Perform cashiering duties and collect co-pays and payments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with demographic updates.
• Maintain patient records in the practice management system.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
