Job description

The prestigious New York Athletic Club, one of the world's premier private clubs, founded in 1868 and located in Central Park South in Manhattan, is seeking full-time Man Dining Room Servers. The servers will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in an upscale restaurant setting. The responsibilities include:

1. Greeting and seating members and guests
2. Providing menus
3. Making recommendations
4. Taking food and drink orders
5. Serving food and drinks
6. Resetting tables
7. Monitoring members'/guests' satisfaction and responding promptly to concerns or complaints
8. Maintaining your station clean and organized
9. Maintaining complete knowledge of menu items and specials
10. Working well with others, including Managers, Hosts, Bartenders, Bussers, and kitchen staff

Requirements:

• Must work holidays and special events
• Knowledge of the POS system
• Minimum of 3-4 years in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
