Job summary

The University of New Mexico School of Law seeks a temporary Facilities Coordinator for a two-month assignment in Albuquerque, NM. The role reports to the Assistant Dean for Administrative Operations and handles building maintenance, remodel projects, and access controls.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience; pay is $18.27 to $23.50 per hour. This temporary staff position is non-benefits eligible and ends Sept. 30, 2026.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience.
  • Completed degrees above the minimum education requirement may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Regular duties require successful pre-employment background checks and school policies compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Submit online work requests to UNM Facilities Management for two Law School buildings.
  • Tour the building to identify maintenance needs and coordinate with facilities teams.
  • Coordinate remodel activities with Planning Design & Construction and manage access for contractors.
  • Manage key authorizations and proxy card settings for Law School community.
  • Maintain and order supplies for facility operations as approved.
  • Support on-site public assistance and visitor direction during hours of operation.
  • Assist with events setup/teardown and coordinate with caterers, security, and event staff.
  • Handle clerical duties and respond to emails and work requests; generate facility data lists.
  • Update Law School space assignment information in the Facilities system.
