Job summary

Darigold Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure that all products' analytical, microbiological and organoleptic properties comply with product and regulatory specifications, and to communicate test results to Lab Manager and other management as deemed necessary.

Responsibilities include testing finished and raw samples, documenting results, initiating out-of-specification callbacks, calibrating equipment, and maintaining accurate data records in a fast-paced Boise, Idaho dairy

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office and data documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform analytical and microbiological tests accurately.

Responsibilities

• Testing finished product samples for analytical and microbiological criteria.
• Sampling and documentation with a focus on compliant results.
• Communicating test results to Lab Manager and management as needed.
• Calibrating equipment and ensuring testing methods meet established standards.
• Maintaining accurate data records and handling out-of-specification callbacks as required.
• Supporting environmental sampling and routine lab duties as assigned.
