Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a TEMP - Lab/Research Support in the McGrath Lab in Atlanta to assist with day-to-day laboratory operations and analysis.

You will set up, operate and maintain instruments, order supplies, prepare samples, and support demonstrations. The role requires a high school diploma and up to two years of related experience. This is a full-time temporary position based in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma.
• Up to two years of job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and maintain instruments and other equipment used in performing lab tests and experiments.
• Order supplies and materials as required; maintain records.
• Setup laboratory media/equipment for demonstrations.
• May clean instruments, glassware and other lab equipment.
• Prepare and process laboratory samples for use in assigned tests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
