WorkGenius Group is seeking a Temp Jr. Copywriter for the City of Industry, CA, in a hybrid schedule (in-office Tue-Thu). The role focuses on creating on-brand copy for print and digital, product descriptions, and SEO-focused content to support sales and engagement.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in English/Marketing or has 2+ years copywriting experience, with strong writing skills, collaboration, and attention to detail. Experience with SEO and fashion/trend awareness is a plus.

Location: City of Industry, CA

Duration: ASAP through 12/17/26; part-time, 24 hours per week. Hybrid schedule in City of Industry, CA, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Write engaging, on-brand copy for print and digital channels while maintaining proper grammar, structure, punctuation, and technical accuracy.
• Create compelling product descriptions using the brand voice.
• Translate product features, benefits, and methods of use into customer-focused copy that supports sales and conversion.
• Collaborate with Merchant, Design, and Marketing teams to ensure product descriptions are clear, concise, and accurate.
• Provide creative input and maintain consistent brand messaging across communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred, or 2+ years of experience as a copywriter or in a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively and provide direct, constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience writing SEO-focused product descriptions.
• Interest in and awareness of current and past pop culture, music, and fashion trends.
• Advanced computer and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
