Salary ranges from $51,826 to $105,207 annually with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus Oregon state retirement. The role involves implementing curriculum, tracking student progress, and collaborating with staff and parents to support student learning; prior teaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Oregon Teaching Certification with High School Level authorization in Social Studies.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with students, staff, and parents through an equitable and trauma informed lens.
• Willingness to work with extra-curricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement adopted Social Studies curriculum and develop supplemental instructional materials aligned to grade level standards for a wide range of student maturities.
• Use data to inform instruction, evaluate academic growth, and monitor progress on grade level standards.
• Maintain appropriate records.
• Actively engage in curriculum and/or faculty committees as interested or required.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to support student learning.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and their parents concerning academic and behavioral progress.
