Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Oregon Teaching Certification with High School Social Studies authorization or eligible.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff and parents through a trauma‑informed lens.

Responsibilities

• Implement adopted Social Studies curriculum and develop supplemental instructional materials aligned to grade standards.
• Use data to inform instruction, evaluate growth and monitor progress on grade level standards.
• Maintain appropriate records and participate in curriculum/faculty committees as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to support student learning and communicate academic/behavior progress to parents.
