Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Commerce, CA is seeking an HR Assistant for a temporary assignment up to 3 months to support a busy HR team. The role focuses on maintaining employee records and handling confidential documents onsite.

You will organize files, perform data entry, scan and file documents, and assist with special projects. Start date is ASAP and the schedule is Monday–Friday, onsite, at $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration and personnel records.
• Strong filing/e-filing and document management experience.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong organizational and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize employee personnel files, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Scan, file, and e-file confidential HR documents within electronic systems.
• Perform data entry and update employee information with high accuracy.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including retrieving records and assisting with special projects.
