Job summary

TSC is seeking a Temporary Assembler at our Huntsville, AL location to support the production division. The role involves assembling electronic and electro-mechanical hardware per military or client specifications.

You will read wiring lists and assembly drawings, use hand and power tools, and assist in developing assembly methods. The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds and potential training of junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; 0+ years of production/assembly experience.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• US Citizen and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly on prototype and production hardware.
• Assists in development and wiring of engineering models and assembly methods.
• Uses hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and assemble components.
• Reads wiring lists and assembly drawings; follows work orders and schematics.
• May train lower-level assemblers and perform rework per procedures.
