Job summary

MetaSource, LLC. is seeking a Temporary Document QC & Microfilm Scanning Specialist for its Norwood, MA location for a 3–4 month assignment.

The role involves front-line production tasks such as document preparation and data entry, following procedures to meet output and quality targets in a safe manner. The position requires commuting to the office, a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), and preferred experience in document processing or scanning.

Qualifications

• Must be able to commute to the office and work a Monday- Friday full-time schedule.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly; wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.
• Preferential treatment given to candidates with prior document processing and/or scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including monitoring, evaluation, and calibration scoring.
• Inspect scanned Microfilm images and review for discrepancies and imaging quality.
• Review and edit microfilm scans to fit company standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a microfilm quality control process.
• Monitor calibration of scanned documents and microfilm.
• Track and identify recurring adherence problems and improvement opportunities in relation to document image scanning.
• Analyze quality and performance trends.
• Responsible for attending, participating in regular improvement meetings.
