Job summary

The County of Anoka's Sheriff’s Office invites you to join as a Temporary Associate Registered Nurse, Correctional Health, delivering essential clinical care within the Anoka County Jail. You will manage medications, support sick calls, chronic care, and emergencies as part of a dedicated nursing team.

This on-site, part-time role offers four shifts per month (one weekend), flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in health care or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health care, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/indirect nursing care to inmates.
• Coordinate and administer medication and treatment.
• Consult with health care team for individual care plans.
• Perform assessments across intake, sick call, chronic care, emergencies.

Education
