Job summary

Anoka County Sheriff's Office is hiring a Temporary Associate Registered Nurse, Correctional Health at the Anoka County Jail. This fast-paced role delivers clinical care across intake, sick call, chronic care, and emergencies, with emphasis on medications management and accurate records.

Qualifications

Requires an associate degree in health care or related discipline or equivalent
Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota (license)
Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle for business use
Background check required

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to inmates across intake, sick call, chronic care, and emergencies
Coordinate and administer medications and treatment
Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate with interdisciplinary health care team
Perform assessments under supervision across jail settings
Provide on-call coverage per facility policies
