Job summary

ID Logistics US is seeking a Packager to sort, verify, package, label and weigh items into units per pre-established pack sizes and customer requirements. You will maintain a clean, organized, and safe distribution center while using scanners, computers, and handheld printers.

This full-time role in Ocala, FL includes a Sun-Wed shift from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM and a pay rate of $16.25 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Possess strong oral and written communications skills.
• Must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Ability to sit/walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Follow PPE standards (steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, vest) as provided by site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort inventory into different totes.
• Sort, verify, package, label and weigh items into units per pre-established pack sizes and customer requirements.
• Use scanners, computers, and handheld printers in daily work.
• Utilize pick sheet, customer order, work order, shipping order or WMS device to determine items to move from stock.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and move items as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Job Description

The Packager's primary responsibility will be sorting, verifying, packaging, labeling and weighing items into units in accordance with pre-established pack sizes, and customer requirements. The each sort Associate is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

• Receive and sort inventory into different totes.


• Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers


• Utilizes pick sheet, customer order, work order, shipping order or facility WMS acquisition device to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed from temperature controlled or non-controlled rooms.


• Lift up to 49 pounds


• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts


• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around


• Other duties as assigned

SHIFT: Sun-Wed: 7:00PM - 05:30AM

PAY: $16.25 + $2.00 Shift Differential
