Job summary

ID Logistics US in Ocala, FL is seeking a Packager to sort, verify, package, label and weigh items according to pack sizes and customer requirements. You will operate scanners, printers, and a WMS, maintain a clean, safe workspace and support warehouse operations.

This role runs Fri-Sun, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with pay of $16.25 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. Benefits include 401(k) matching, health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift and move 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort, verify, package, label and weigh items into units per pack sizes and customer requirements.
• Receive and sort inventory into totes; use scanners, computers, and handheld printers.
• Follow work orders/WMS to pick items from different rooms; operate related equipment.
• Move items using carts and hand trucks; maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

The Packager's primary responsibility will be sorting, verifying, packaging, labeling and weighing items into units in accordance with pre-established pack sizes, and customer requirements. The each sort Associate is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

• Receive and sort inventory into different totes.
• Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
• Utilizes pick sheet, customer order, work order, shipping order or facility WMS acquisition device to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed from temperature controlled or non-controlled rooms.
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Weekend Days: Friday-Sunday
• 6:30AM – 05:00PM

PAY: $16.25 + $1.50 Shift Differential

Requirements

• Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
