Job summary

ID Logistics US in Ocala, FL is seeking a Packager to sort, verify, package, label and weigh items per customer specs. You will operate scanners, computers and handheld printers, and use WMS-driven pick sheets to move items from various storage areas, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Expect weekend night shifts with 6:30 PM–5:00 AM, and a pay rate of $16.25 plus a $1.50 shift differential. Benefits include 401(k), health/dental/vision, life insurance, PTO and more.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort, verify, package, label and weigh items into units per pre-established sizes and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe packing area.
• Receive and sort inventory into totes; use scanners, computers and handheld printers.
• Use pick sheets or WMS devices to determine items to move from controlled or non-controlled rooms.
• Move items using carts, dollies, hand trucks; lift up to 49 pounds.

• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around

Job Description

The Packager's primary responsibility will be sorting, verifying, packaging, labeling and weighing items into units in accordance with pre-established pack sizes, and customer requirements. The each sort Associate is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

Requirements

• Possess strong oral and written communications skills
• Must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Ability to sit/walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
