Job summary

ID Logistics US is seeking a Packager in Ocala, FL to sort, verify, package, label and weigh items into designated units. You will use scanners, computers and handheld printers to process orders and ensure accuracy while maintaining a clean, safe work floor.

The role requires ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk for long periods and follow PPE standards. Schedule: Sun-Wed 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with $16.25 base pay plus $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Must wear PPE as directed.

Responsibilities

• Sort inventory and package items into units per pre-established pack sizes.

Job Description

The Packager's primary responsibility will be sorting, verifying, packaging, labeling and weighing items into units in accordance with pre-established pack sizes, and customer requirements. The each sort Associate is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.

• Receive and sort inventory into different totes.
• Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
• Utilizes pick sheet, customer order, work order, shipping order or facility WMS acquisition device to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed from temperature controlled or non-controlled rooms.
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
